The story behind Viranda
Viranda began in 1986 because people investing in commercial property needed someone looking after their interests throughout the process. Our work started with understanding what each client wanted to achieve, helping them decide whether a property was right for them and staying involved through the years of ownership that followed.
As clients began recommending us to friends and colleagues, those relationships shaped the growth of the business. An airline pilot who came to Viranda in our first year introduced us to others in the profession, beginning a connection that would eventually extend to clients from seventeen airlines. Many of the business owners, professionals and investors living overseas who joined us came through similar personal introductions.
Today, our team continues to work closely with clients to acquire and manage commercial property, often over many years as their circumstances and plans evolve. Looking after their interests remains the foundation of that relationship, and along the way, many clients have become friends.
How Viranda works
We help private owners buy and manage commercial property in Auckland, with property management, facilities and accounts working together in one team.
When a lease, repair or change of tenant needs attention, our managers draw on that shared experience. We explain the options in the context of the building’s income, costs and your plans for it.
